There are a few food places to eat a good Breakfast in Pascagoula. One such place is called Dough Joes (http:\\www.DoughJoes.com). It is a good place to order a cup of coffee and one of their signature Kolache. It sits on Jackson Avenue near Market Street (http://www.yellowpages.com/info-LMS65803126/Dough-Joes-Kolache-Coffee-Cafe/maps?back_to=%2Fname%2F39567%7EPascagoula-MS%2FDough-Joes%3F
This morning I ordered a Polish Sausage Kolache, a Blueberry Scones and a cup of the daily brew coffee. The Blueberry Scone was the best part of the breakfast (not putting the coffee or Kolache down). I can still taste the blueberry. It coast a little over $8.00.
The property Dough Joe's sits on is up for sale. I think this might be a reason why there was little customer traffic when I was in there. I myself have passed by the place on a few occasions thinking that the place was out of business. There is a Car Dealership right next door so if you see cars in the parking lot you might think they belong to the dealership.
If you live or visit the Pascagoula area I recommend the place. It has a nice atmosphere and the employees are polite. I plan to visit a few more times in the near future.
This is my first review of a restaurant on the Gulf Coast. Every two weeks or so I plan to visit one of the many places between Mobile and New Orleans. The next place will be one that everyone who lives on the coast has heard of, The Shed. Until next time....
